Ph.D. in Methodological Statistics, (Dottorato di Ricerca in Statistica) July 1997, Università degli Studi di Trento, Italy. Thesis advisor: Professor Consonni. Dissertation title: ”Partitioning models for survival analysis, through a Bayesian nonparametric approach”.
Laurea in Mathematics, November 1992, Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy, (marks: 109/110), discussing a thesis about Statistics, entitled "Estimation of parameters of particular models used in time series analysis". Thesis Advisor: Professor Regazzini. She worked for her thesis at the Department of Statistics at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, Great Britain; her stage there was supported by Erasmus program 1991/1992 for European Students.
