- Education: Francesca joined the Centre for Economic and International Studies as a post‑doctoral researcher in 2019. She is an applied and behavioural economist and currently works as a tenure‑track researcher (RTT) at eCampus University. She is a CESifo Research Network Affiliate in the area of behavioural economics and an external member of DEMAP (Decision Making for Policy) at Middlesex University, London. Her research lies at the intersection of applied microeconomics and behavioural economics, with applications to gender studies and gender‑based violence, unethical behaviour, and health.
Biography
I am an applied theorist interested in Macroeconomics, Labor Economics, Technological Change, Artificial Intelligence, and Demographic Transition. My research investigates the interaction between technological and demographic changes and their consequences on the labor market, market structure, economic growth, and inequality.
I obtained my PhD from the European University Institute and have worked as a Postdoc at the University of Konstanz. In October 2024, I joined the Economic Department at the University of Vienna as an Assistant Professor (non-tenure track).
