14th Symposium on ICT, Environment, Climate Change and Circular Economy​​

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU), together with the Ministry of Economic Development, Italy and the University of Rome Tor Vergata are organizing the 14th Symposium on ICT, Environment, Climate Change and Circular Economy, which will take place on 25 October 2022 in Rome, Italy. The theme of this year's Symposium is "Sustainable Digital Transformation: The Role of ICTs and Digital Technologies in Achieving Net Zero Carbon".
 
COP27 underscored how now, more than ever, there is a need for climate action and sustainable development. Digital technologies contribute in many ways to solving the world's most pressing challenges, including climate change and biodiversity loss. This Symposium will highlight how information and communication technology (ICT) and digital technology play a critical role in enabling innovative solutions to drive sustainable digital transformation globally.
 
This Symposium is collocated with the​ ITU-T Study Group 5: Environment, EMF and Circular Economy meeting which will take place from 17 to 27 October 2022.

The Faculty of Economics is located at Via Columbia, 2 outside the ring road "GRA - Grande Raccordo Anulare" between Via Casilina and the Rome-Naples highway.

By public transportation:
Metro + Bus
Take the subway  "Line A", Get off at the end of the line "Anagnina", Take the bus n° 20 (Express line) or 500 or 507 to the Faculty of Economics.

By car:
Take the "GRA - Grande Raccordo Anulare", exit to "La Romanina" (exit 19-20), follow signs to "Tor Vergata - Facolta' di Economia".
