We will discuss some (more or less) recent attempts to formalise, mathematically and programmatically, the notion and the management of ownership for a (native) digital asset. The discussion will follow the case of Bitcoin in some detail, covering: its scripting language, the possibility of off-chain actions and the notion of fork.
